The organizing department is a vital component of PENSA Legon. Its primary responsibility is to ensure that the venue for meetings and programs is properly set up. The organizing department oversees all PENSA Legon's assets and authorizes the distribution of any assets to third parties. The department is in charge of providing logistical support for the various units at the hall and branch levels to function properly. The department consists of three essential units: protocol, ushering and décor, and technical.
Protocol Unit
The protocol unit is responsible for the arrangements of chairs for service, mounting of canopies when the need arises, dusting and cleaning of chairs, they also oversee setting down that is putting the place of service in order after worship.
Technical Unit
The technical unit is primarily responsible for ensuring the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of the church's sound system, including microphones, speakers, and audio mixing equipment.
Ushering and Decor
Furthermore, the ushering and decor unit is primarily in charge of decorating the auditorium for church services and other events, as well as ushering during church services. The ushers are in charge of greeting and welcoming attendees, assisting them in finding available seating, maintaining order and managing the flow of people during services, and collecting offering baskets. They also assist attendees with any special requirements or requests, such as locating accessible seating or assisting those with mobility issues. The décor team ensures that the sanctuary is properly prepared and decorated for worship services, including the placement of flowers, banners, and other liturgical items. The members are dedicated to service in the Lord’s vineyard and work together in love and unity. Our ministry is to serve. For this reason, we are known as the "Love Family." Ministering through service!
